A collection of my current projects and interests.
Below are all the web and programming projects that I am currently involved in. I tend to take on more web-related projects due to my passion for design, but I always have a programming project on the back-burner for when I need a little break. All of these projects are currently in the process of being finished, so many of them are incomplete. If you would like to get in touch with me about any of my projects, please use the contact page. Feel free to also send me a request if you think I could help out with any of your own projects, since I'm always looking for new collaborations and interesting projects to take on.
Web Projects
This project introduces simple, cost-effective, and efficient Web-based roadmaps for informing, guiding and advising students and their families along the educational and early-career continuum. These roadmaps are intended to convey an institution's intentional academic scaffolding of expectations for student learning; sequenced courses and programs of study; and ultimate outcomes. The goals of this project are to improve student recruitment and retention and to empower student learning by creating better communication and advising tools that render the higher education enterprise "transparent" for learners and their families.

Break the Dark is an edgy, progressive, and melodic rock band that has built its very core on the chemistry and creativity of its components. For this project, I am redesigning their MySpace profile due to the imminent release of their brand new EP "For Those Forgotten." New features on their profile include a visual overhaul, links to their other social networks, and widgets to display their individual Twitter statuses. The main challenge in this project is working within the confines of the MySpace code, since they do not allow you to stray from the typical format of a page. This restricts the amount of features I can add to their page.
FikeMeeney Productions is a freelance video production company that services Rhode Island and surrounding areas. They offer full scale video productions including filming and post production editing for print to DVD or internet ready. Right now, this project is on hold because Mike Feeney, the main person behind the production company, is currently training to join the National Guard. Right now I'm just working on concepts for the site, which I will show to him when he comes back in about one month. From there, the project will take off quickly due to the simple nature of what he wants the website to accomplish.
The Heaven's Rogues (COHR) was founded in April 2001 on Phantasy Star Online by four brothers in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then, COHR has expanded into many different online games and has improved the gaming experience for all of their members. They hold official events often and help their members with collecting items, give gaming tips, and just be there to chat. They have been active for over eight years and many of their members have been there since the start. This project is focused on visually updating their website and making sure that it's easy to update in the future, since they do not have a dedicated web person to take care of their website.
Programming Projects
Android is a mobile operating system running on the Linux kernel. It was initially developed by Android Inc., a firm later purchased by Google, and lately by the Open Handset Alliance. It allows developers to write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries. This project is still in its early phases, since I'm still learning the Android API and creating test applications. I'm hoping that by the middle of next year I'll have a good enough grasp on the aspects of the operating system to start making a serious application. One of the best aspects of this project is that I have an Android phone, so I'll be able to create something I'll enjoy using as well.
